THE GOOD PART

Princess AyelotanA good part of Wisdom you must master with all your life is to know what to ignore in your daily experiences with people and life. It is not everything that comes our way that we must focus on because the more we put all our minds on these, the more we will find out that they are not worth the effort.

Wisdom is there for us to embrace, to respect and to hold on to. What goes on around us will continue to be rotated every day. Life is such that many things have passed and they still come back even if it takes years for them to return.

We must understand and get to the point in our lives that we cannot focus all our attention on everything that happened around us. It will be great wastes if we do that.

The truth is most of these things happening around us, are not for us. If they are for us, then they would have happened directly to us.

Why many people get into trouble so easily and so neat is because they do not master the art of ignoring things going on around them, thus they have focused so much into these things to the extent that they got themselves involved for no reason and the end results are fatal.

It will be of tangible benefit for you and for your life if you learn to ignore many things going on. If people are fighting, it is not your business to come in between them unless you are trying to save a soul. Otherwise, learn to ignore. When two people, even if they are your friends or colleagues are discussing, do not put your mouth in so that they will not trapped you in when they need to settle their scores.

When you neighbours are fighting, if you can, just alert the Police BUT stay in your room so that you will be wise enough to avoid the deadly blow the husband intended for his wife but mistakenly landed it on you.

In case your children are arguing, make sure you come in when it is necessary and not just about any time. Allow kids to resolve their disputes by themselves. It makes them grow and be more reasonable between themselves.

Are you going through the street and you see a group of people fighting, you will be doing well to yourself if you ignore and run for your life. There is no gain when you try to go there to act like Peace-maker and thus losing your life through a knife or gun shot.

Wisdom profits than foolishness! Learn to ignore.

Cheers!

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF

Princess AyelotanDear Friend,

When was the last time you truly laughed?

Someone said it’s not possible to laugh so much these days when there are so much going on in the minds.

And I personally disagree with her. You know what? Laughter is great! No matter the circumstances, do not allow yourself to forget your joy, your sense of humour and to laugh. It produces happiness even when you feel you don’t deserve it.

If you find it difficult laughing, why not start watching hilarious children cartoons? Majority of my DVDs are animations. TV is banned in my house but we make do with our PCs and cinemas. Most nights, we watch these films before bed and the next day we woke up feeling bright, ready to tackle the affairs of the day.

Animation films bring indescribable laughter that gets you overwhelmed. Each time we refer to those funny animation films we watched, we could not avoid laughing. Apart from films, look for things that bring out the laughter in you. Believe me, you need it!

Laughter helps create happy days for you. It rids your mind of moody thoughts. It brings never-ending Peace to your soul. It balances your life, thus bringing in positive thoughts.

It does not matter what you are going through right now, do something that will bring explosion of laughter into your life.

Join me and let’s laugh it off!

Cheers!

IT’S NOT BAD AFTER ALL

Princess AyelotanDear Friend,

Having the sense of judgement about life is very important. How we embrace life issues when they come depend on our maturity.

No matter what we may be passing through or we may have gone through, we need to understand that life is not bad after all.

What is bad is how we tend to resolve issues that come to us. We are not robot nor are we dummies that cannot think straight. We have the solutions within us; we have everything it takes to come out of those tunnels.

Things become worst because we allow it. Why has God given us the choice to live our lives the way we want? The answer is simple! God knows we are capable of building the best of our lives.  You have to explore your God-given wisdom, knowledge and comprehension to know that great person you are.

Let us not be stuck with the mentality that life is filled with chaos. Life is pretty cool, promising, and full of uncompromising love, Faith, lasting friends and contentment.

Life is not bad after all.

Cheers!

LAST MOMENT

Princess AyelotanDear Friend,

Someone asked me ‘Princess, what do you think about Michael Jackson?’

‘I think he was great!’ I replied. I thought we would leave it that way but this person was not done yet.

‘Princess,’

‘Yes’

‘Do you believe that he will go to heaven?’

‘Who?’

‘Michael Jackson. Are you sure he is fit for heaven?’

I paused and thought for a while. I knew I must give an answer. So I said; ‘Let God be the one to determine that’

It is so amazing how people are fast in judging others. It is so sad to discover that those who are experts in condemning others are the ones with worst crimes ever.

We are here on earth to make a mark, to create meaning to other people’s lives.

We are not here to destroy unless we decide to do this. Our lives are not just for us alone but to bless others, to make life worth living for others, to share love, laughter, helping hands, smile, and many wonderful things of life together.

And that was what Michael Jackson did. He came and proved his destiny beyond doubt.

There is no doubt that we are also aware of this part of our lives that portraits our weaknesses. Michael Jackson had his, I have mine and of course, you have yours.  Every human on planet earth has individual weakness that may be one or multiple. And because Michael’s weakness worked against his good nature while he was alive does not or cannot be the ultimate fact for anyone to conclude that he was a bad man.

Last night, I sat throughout his memorial. My internet connection went off and I have to reconnect it again before I was able to watch the entire live event. Believe me, I lost myself to tears.

During her speech at the memorial, US Congress Lady, Sheila Jackson Lee emphasised so hard on some people’s focus on Michael Jackson’s weakness. She concluded by saying Michael was ‘innocent until proven guilty’ she said it right.

I would like to add to this by saying that judging people for their weaknesses is wrong. We must not be pushed to doing this when we know within our privacies that we have our own weaknesses.

Let us focuses more on trying to make life better and sweeter for those around us, in our world and also for ourselves.

Cheers!
