5th March 2009
I worked on my writing as usual throughout the morning. After lunch, a new artist arrived. Ingvild is from Oslo, Norway. She is a writer. That is an addition to the group. Personally, I am happy having another writer with us.
Nothing much happened. The day went by without any new routine.
Dinner was great. Don’t forget I mentioned in my last note about Deter and Ellinor going back to Berlin. We hurried the dinner. Then we went outside and sat in front of one of our studios. A send-off party started at 21:00hrs. It went on until 23:30hrs when the Taxi man came for them. Their respective air flights were between 3am and 3:15 am.
We knew we will miss them, really.
What a day for me! My writing is becoming a true work. Can someone help me out, please?

Annette was gone by the time I came out of my studio. Deter told me Annette was out of the residence by 7am. That time, I was still sleeping, probably dreaming.
Today, there is another pain to deal with. Why am I saying this? Well, two of our artists are leaving tomorrow night. Don’t you think this is painful? I mean when you are getting used to see them around, and interacting with them.
The sight of them departing just like that is not pleasant, believe me. There are Deter and Ellinor. They will be on the way to Berlin tomorrow night. Just like Annette, both of them have been here a month ago.
I know we all have to go back home when we complete our residency and that is the hardest part of it all.
This is when you will think that it is better that you don’t meet these nice people at all. Parting can be the most terrible.
